Saluda Medical Center Giving—Need
As a private, non-profit rural health center, the Saluda Medical Center receives patient fees, health insurance reimbursement, and state support for the uninsured, all of which are applied to operating expenses. However, there remains a host of other needs for which the Center relies on contributions from citizens and foundations. Some of those needs include office and medical equipment, improvements to a very old building, and other capital expenditures. All contributions are tax deductible.
We ask that individuals wishing to contribute contact any board member or Amy Copeland, our Administrator. We will be happy to discuss the opportunities and priorities that exist and, for tax purposes to provide you with a letter acknowledging your gift. Our preference is for gifts that are undesignated, but we welcome those that the donor wishes to designate for a specific purpose.
